Well, we're off to International Quilt Market in Portland, Oregon tomorrow.  We'll be checking out all of the new goodies from Australian designers as well as those here in the US.

We will be checking and responding to email while gone but will NOT be shipping again until Wednesday, May 23rd.

We are happy to announce that we are now carrying select editions of Australian Homespun magazine, Australia's No 1 patchwork, quilting and stitchery magazine and Australian Country Threads!  This is a trial run ~ so if you're interested in having Australian-based magazines become a permanent part of our offerings here at Treasured Threads, please let us know by leaving a comment!

Great News!

Shipping Break!

Exciting New Things!

Happy New Year, Everyone!  We are getting off to a great start to 2008 here at Treasured Threads!

Leanne's Butterfly Garden sold out almost immediately and we now have more sets of patterns on the way.  Thanks so much to all of YOU for supporting us!

Janelle Wind and Bronwyn Hayes have now joined our group of pattern designers!  We haven't yet placed that first stock order ~ We'd like for all of you to tell us what you'd like to see us stock!  You can see Janelle's line here.  A sampling of Bronwyn's patterns can be seen here.  I will have her brochure in about a week and will post some items then (she doesn't yet have her own blogspace).  WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOUR OPINIONS! :)  Please comment on the blog or send us an email with what you'd like to see us stock!

We will also be placing an order with Anni Downs of Hatched and Patched.  You can see her site here.  We will be stocking her books "An Angel's Story" and "A Christmas Story" in addition to a few of her patterns.  What would you like to see?

We're *always* looking for new designers!  If there's someone you'd like to see, let us know!

I have had a few questions and I'd like to share them with you.

Do you have a website?  This is it!  We are working on a "real" website (www.treasuredthreadsonline.com), but it's not ready quite yet.  For now, you can find all that we offer right here!

Which patterns do you carry?  Everything that we currently carry is listed on the left hand side.  You can see "what's new" or look for a certain pattern/book by designer.  We *try* to be in stock with all items at all times BUT when there's a rush of orders all at once, occasionally, we may sell out.  If that's the case, we *always* offer free shipping for your back-ordered item once it arrives at the store and we ship out to you!

We are always happy to do "special orders".  If you find something on the designer's website that we don't currently stock, just ask!  We place orders every few weeks and would be happy to get something for you!

How do I place an order?  It's easy!  Look through what we have to offer and just send us an email!  We promise to provide a response in 24 hours or less!

How do I pay?  We currently accept all forms of payment through PayPal, personal checks or money orders.

Where are you located?  Right in the heart of the Midwest in the U.S.A.!

How do you charge for shipping?  We never charge a flat shipping fee and try to send your items the least expensive way.  Typically, we use the United States Postal Service.

Do you ship to Canada or overseas?  Yes we do.  We'll also tell you if it would be more economical for you to order from an Australian distributor.

"Catch the Spirit" is a cute, quick wallhanging to make up and spread the holiday cheer!  Featuring all of those wonderful things we love about the holiday season ~ Gingerbread, gifts, candy canes, holly, trees, stockings and that oh-so-wonderful "Ho Ho Ho" ~ you will love stitching up this small wallhanging!  Approximately 15" x 20" finished.  $12 plus shipping

"Cottage Blessings" and "Cottage Garden" Bags are sure to be a hit in your bag collection!  $13.50 each plus shipping

New Patterns are on the Way!

We are excited to announce yet more new patterns to the offerings here at Treasured Threads!  In addition to Rosalie Quinlan's new BOM, Home is Where the Heart Resides" (see post below for photo), arriving this week, we're also looking forward to receiving the new bag pattern from Melly & Me, "Toffee Apple".

   

We're also introducing Leanne May of Candlelight Creations with her great new stitchery pattern, "Friends are Kind".  Wouldn't this make a quick, excellent gift for a friend this holiday season?

 

And we're pleased to introduce Lynette Anderson of Lynette Anderson Designs.  Arriving soon will be the pattern for her "Welcome Home Cushion"

and her book, "Friends for Christmas".  This is a great book that offers 10 different Christmas-theme projects, this quilt being the main one.

A Few Pics from Market

What a great time we had at International Quilt Market in Houston, Texas!  We went specifically to meet Melanie Hurlston of Melly & Me and Rosalie Quinlan, 2nd half of Melly and Me and creator of Rosalie Quinlan Designs.  Let me tell you...these girls have it GOIN' ON!!! LOL  They are absolutely wonderful designers and just dolls in person!  Although I seem to think I may have shrunk a bit as they both are so Tall! :)  Here we are following our night out for dinner together:

As women, we have lots in common and it was great fun to learn all about their home in Australia!  They "traveled around the world" in a sense, as they flew from Houston to the Netherlands and then home to Australia.  After just getting home a couple of days ago, I am sure they are getting much needed rest right now!

Both have some great new patterns that have either just been released or are on their way to being released.  Rosie's new BOM "Home is Where the Heart Resides", seen below, was absolutely STUNNING in person.  We should have the patterns in early December.

The girls have also released some new 'softie' patterns including Magoo, Dilbert and Mrs. Perkins.  All are absolutely ADORABLE! :)  They would make great Christmas gifts for those little ones in your life.  Read the girls' blog here to see their little discussion of poor Dilbert as they were getting him ready for his trip to Houston. :)
